Originally from Torreon, Alejandro is passionate about art and storytelling through drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpture.
A self taught visual artist, Alejandro was a finalist in the MUMEDI (Mexican Museum of Graphic Deign) cartel contest that celebrated the country´s bicentennial anniversary. In 2016 he participated in a Mexican print makers exhibit, with his woodcuts, at the Museum of Printmaking in the State of Mexico.
He has since had several exhibits in Mexico city and San Miguel de Allende, and has sold his artwork to people from New York, Montreal, Austin, San Diego, San Francisco, Mexico City, Vancouver, Bogota, and Monterrey, among others.
Today he lives happily in San Miguel de Allende, and works hard as an artist looking to convey original ideas that inspire people around the world to be creative and happy.
Alejandro´s artwork ranges from watercolor and ink, to acrylic, printmaking and drawing, mixed media and sculpting.
His characters always aim to provoke a feeling that life is extraordinary and that things can be fun and different, if we view them through a different lens, especially through the eyes of different cultures and our endless imagination.
Workshops for people who want to discover their artistic spirit and express themselves through art.
I generally focus my workshops on mixed media and experimenting with different art supplies in order to get people to loosen up and try new things.
